nanotron supports developers of products and applications with a number of useful evaluation and development tools. The Ranging Kit RK-II toolset helps to assess system performance up-front even before the development has been started. The nanoPAN 5375 Development Kit supports the development of location-aware applications. It provides a common hardware and software platform for easy system debugging during the development phase.
nanotron's Ranging Kit RK-II is THE tool to assess radio performance that could be achieved with our Chirp technology in the specific application environment. The Kit consists of two handheld devices with useful apps like zoning, link quality and distance measurement.
The Ranging Kit RK-II provides two easy to use battery-operated wireless devices for performing ranging in real-time with or without line-of-sight.
The nanotron Ranger-II devices provide the fastest way to verify the superior ranging capabilities of nanotrons CSS based robust ranging technology.
The Ranging Kit RK-II offers mobility and flexibility with an easy to read LCD dot matrix displays. Four different applications are supported: Ranging, CLOPS®, Zoning and Link Quality testing.

The swarm kit tool set makes it easy to assess ranging performance under realistic conditions. A PC can be used as the host if active behavior is required. For swarm radios to show passive behavior no host is needed.
The PC-based swarm radio interface provides a comprehensive way to try individual commands and learn how to use the swarm API command language.
This way swarm applications are created step by step. Swarm radios may show different behavior in different situations. Additional swarm radios are available to expand the swarm.
If a gateway is required to collect information about the swarm an optional sniffer could be used.
Small battery powered swarm radios are available for volume production. They understand the application code that has been developed using the swarm kit even though their form factor is different.
nanotron's nanoPAN 5375 Development Kit helps to assess location performance with ranging. Additional evaluation and development boards are available to expand the set with either more anchor points or more mobile tags.
The nanoPAN 5375 Development Kit is a convenient way to develop and test distance and location-aware wireless applications.
Long range is assured due to the development boards high output power of +20 dBm. Power supply and data transfer share a single USB interface. Four demo applications are included with the kit that show the robust communication and ranging capabilities of the nanoPAN 5375 RF Module.
