Asset visibility and asset management
The whereabouts and condition of high value assets are critical information in production and logistics processes - often mission-critical.
Goal
Improve process efficiency based on the actual location and condition of high value assets.
Avoid time-consuming searches or reprioritize process sequences for instance.
Both find and protect platforms are used
to locate tagged assets. protect works proximity-based and find works RTLS-like.
In addition both protect and find support very robust communication utilizing
the same radio transceivers. Packets used for distance measurement or localization may carry information such as sensor readings or
battery status.
Solution
The location infrastructure consists of anchors connected to the location engine and server. Signals from asset-mounted tags are constantly received by the location infrastructure.
